Artist Biography
Lynne Oakes is an artist and a teacher of artists. While she paints in a variety of media, oil painting
and watercolor are her primary interests. Her subject matter includes life in its many aspects: landscapes, florals,
cats, dolls, still life and portraits. Lynne's paintings
are in private collections in the U.S. and Europe. She is also represented in various corporate collections.
In her community, she founded an art league that is now over 20 years
old. This is another aspect of her devotion to helping others to follow their dreams to be artists, and to be in the
company of artists.
